Both of these time-honored spongy-steamed Christmas puddings have a absolutely wonderful flavor! The light Christmas pudding was great-grandpa’s favourite. The dark Christmas pudding recipe came from great-great grandma – what a way to eat your veggies!!
Two sizes to choose from: Personal-size (individual portion size) or Family-size which feeds approximately 6-8 people.
And two kinds to choose from:
- Light Christmas Pudding: Unbleached flour, white sugar, butter, eggs, milk, baking powder, vanilla flavoring, baking gums (or gumdrops).
- Dark Christmas Pudding: Carrots, potatoes, vegetable shortening, dark brown sugar, molasses, unbleached flour, raisins, dates, baking soda, spices, salt.
Instructions for reheating the pudding plus a sauce recipe (but not ingredients) for you to make your own hot sugar ‘n’ honey sauce are included with your order. (Sauce ingredients are water, brown sugar, honey, and optional cut-up gumdrops.)
